We use a combination of techniques that give us an in-depth visual representation of the project status, as well as drilled down, color coordinated n-week-look-ahead planning. Meanwhile short daily coordination meetings are a vital component of our methodology to ensure that all involved in the execution of the schedule are aligned and are working effectively to deliver our client's needs. Responsible for planning and scheduling services of Sasol Technology projects since 2007 including: Secunda Growth Programme, Secunda Gas Turbines Project, Sasolburg Gas Engine Project, GTL/CTL International projects in North America, India China and Uzbekistan, New Energy Projects and majority of tier 1 and 2 projects in Secunda and Sasolburg. Responsible for Central Planning Office at Sasol Technology between 2008 and 2012 to develop, implement and maintain EPM Administration for all project schedules.
Petrochemical Construction Projects
Kentz South Africa
Responsible for planning and scheduling services of Kentz projects since 2012 providing construction planning services, progress measurement, schedule analysis and reporting on Mechanical and Piping projects. Services include WBS development, schedule baseline development and update, visual representation of weekly schedules in project control rooms supported by daily meetings and daily progress status reports as well as delay analysis and constant support to meet commercial requirements
Medupi Power Plant Construction Project
Eskom
Involved in planning and scheduling services of Medupi power plant project since 2013 providing construction master schedule development services, setting up schedule basis document, attending project progress meetings proactively, providing management reports with delay analysis and forecasts on schedule, reporting daily, weekly and monthly. Involved in commercial evaluation of tenders in view of project time management using FIDIC platform and resource analysis utilized or to be utilized along with project schedules
9th Olefin Petrochemical Construction Project
Arya Sasol, Technip & Uhde
Construction Management Contractor (CMC) for construction phase of Ethylene plant at Arya Sasol Polymer Company between 2003 and 2006. Including planning, scheduling, contract administration, quality documents completion tracking, cost control, material coordination and field construction monitoring and reporting. Planning, scheduling and completion tracking services at Technip for LD Polyethylene construction phase. Planning, scheduling and completion tracking services at Uhde for MD/HD Polyethylene construction phase.
Copper and Cobalt Mining Project
GRD Minproc DRC
Planning, scheduling and project control services for GDR Minperoc in copper and cobalt mining project in DRC between 2008 and 2009. Services include WBS development, schedule baseline development and update, visual representation of weekly schedules in project control rooms supported by daily meetings and daily progress status reports as well as delay analysis and constant support to meet commercial requirements. Working in remote area in DRC provided great knowledge and experience for APM regarding African continent.
Integrated Planning Solution
Unique Hydra, Cape Town
A comprehensive analysis done by APM and verified by Unique Hydra, in third quarter of 2014, resulted in a mandate for APM to engage further with Unique Hydra in three main projects and start working on its proposed “Integrated Planning Solution” (IPS). APM provided planning and scheduling services for three of the biggest projects at Unique Hydra and accommodated their management with regular project analysis reports on a daily basis. Continuous look ahead planning using am/pm methodology provided senior management at Hydra to improve organizational dynamics at internal level and engage with their clients at external level.
